Indianapolis Colts backup tight end Weslye Saunders will be suspended without pay for the first eight games of the NFL season, an NFL spokesman announced.
He is being suspended for violating the NFL's performance enhancing drugs policy. This is the second time Saunders has violated the league's policy on PEDs, as he was suspended for the first four games of the 2012 season.
Saunders will be able to practice and see time in preseason games. He can return to the active roster on Nov. 4.
