Texans Sign Rookie Tight End C.J. Fiedorowicz

According to John McClain (Houston Chronicle) the Houston Texans and third round pick C.J. Fiedorowicz have agreed to terms. The tight end out of Iowa signed his four year deal that will pay him $3.95 million over the four years with a signing bonus of $703,304.

The 6-5 and 265 lbs. tight end was considered the top blocking inline tight end in the NFL draft and will be leaned on for that reason this season. Fiedorowicz will be added to Garrett Graham and Ryan Griffin and barring injury fill out the depth at the tight end position for the upcoming season.

Fiedorowicz makes the 8th rookie of the 2014 draft class to sign with the Texans. It leaves only Jadeveon Clowney and Xavier Su’a-Filo has the only two rookies waiting to sign their rookie deals.
