The Houston Texans have placed running back Jonathan Grimes and outside linebacker Trevardo Williams on the active roster for training camp. Grimes and
Williams have both been dealing with their respective injuries before training camp opened. Grimes was activated off the Active/Non-Football injury list
and Williams was activated off the Active/Pup list.
Outside linebacker Trevardo Williams has been dealing with injuries since his arrival to Houston in 2013 after being drafted out of Connecticut
practiced for a short time when voluntary mini-camp opened early in June, but has not touched field since then.
Running back Jonathan Grimes returns to the Texans and will be instantly in line for a chance to crack the running back rotation heading into camp. Grimes
in 2013 rushed the ball 21 times for 73 yards and a touchdown and also had 6 receptions for 76 yards.
The Texans activated two familiar faces to the active roster for training camp.
