According to Josina Anderson from ESPN, the Houston Texans have signed free agent running back William Powell.
Powell played at Kansas State and was signed by the Arizona Cardinals as a rookie free agent where he appeared in 13 games in 2012. In 13 games, he rushed
60 times for 217 yards and chipped in 19 receptions for 132 yards. Also, he had 21 kick returns for a 24.1 average with two returns over 40 yards.
In 2013 he spent a short time with the Philadelphia Eagles but played in zero games.
At 5-9 and 207 lbs., Powell stays in his hometown state where he played high school football at Duncanville High School.
