The Houston Texans continued to make more moves by waiving cornerback Josh Victorian and placing offensive tackle Will Yeatmen on the injured reserve. The Texans are working to get their 53 man roster set before week one against the Washington Redskins.
Josh Victorian stood out on special teams for the Texans during preseason but struggled in coverage and apparently became expendable when the team claimed Darryl Morris off of waivers from the San Francisco 49ers.
As for Yeatmen, he suffered a concussion early in training camp, but could not get over the after effects of the injury. He appeared in no preseason games for the Texans and was expected to compete for the backup swing tackle position.
The Texans continued a flurry of moves on Sunday to continue to improve their roster.
