Texans left tackle Tony Boselli underwent arthroscopic surgery on his left shoulder Monday morning, which might make him unavailable for the opening game September 8th against the Dallas Cowboys.
Boselli, has undergone three procedures on his left shoulder since last last year and two in the last eight weeks.
"We'll know more in a month than we know now," GM Charley Casserly said.
"There is no exact timetable, because you can't predict these things. Sure, we would like for him to play sooner than later, but we want to look at the long-range picture and play him when he's healthy."
Boselli played in three games last season with Jacksonville before being placed on the injured reserve list. He had surgery to repair torn cartilage in his right shoulder in October and then had arthroscopic surgery on his left shoulder in early November.
