When the Texans are on offense:
Kevin Walter / Andre Davis - Kevin Walter had a huge game catching eight passes for 76 yards and two touchdowns, and Andre Davis chipped in with one reception for 14 yards.
Duane Brown - Brown allowed no sacks and there was really no pressure whatsoever to Matt Schaub. The Texans first-round pick looked like a star on Sunday.
Owen Daniels - Daniels led the team with 87 receiving yards on seven catches, and had the longest play of the game for the Texans, a 34-yard reception.
Derrick Harvey / Quentin Groves - The Jaguars rookie duo of defensive ends accounted for just a pair of tackles, both by Harvey.
Mike Peterson - The Jaguars linebacker filled up the stat sheet with six tackles, but looked old, slow, and soft as he couldn’t cover Owen Daniels and was run over by Steve Slaton.
Drayton Florence - Drayton Florence continued to look like a nickel corner starting on the outside as he was targeted and picked on several times by Texans quarterback Matt Schaub. Florence finished with one tackle and allowed more big plays.
When the Jaguars are on offense:
Khalif Barnes - The Jaguars left tackle continued his fine play against the great Mario Williams as Williams had just one tackle on the day and wasn’t a factor.
Milford Brown, Dennis Norman, and Uche Nwaneri - The Jacksonville interior line couldn’t open up many holes for the running game as the Texans loaded up the line of scrimmage with defenders. They did protect Garrard very well.
Reggie Williams - Williams had his best game of the season as he caught four passes for 46 yards, as he showed fearlessness and reckless abandon over the middle of the field.
Zac Diles - The Texans under the radar star had six tackles on Sunday and was all over the field.
C.C. Brown - The Houston safety had five tackles and didn’t play his best game.
