In our Final Game Preview, we gave you some keys to a Texans victory and a few things to look for. We are now going to compare how these points played out in the Texans 28-21 loss at Minnesota.

Five most important things for the Texans:

1. Slow down #28. Houston bottled up Peterson for the most part, but he still gained 139 yards on 25 carries. A testament to how great Peterson really is.

2. Open it up. The Texans definitely tried to throw the ball, and did it with pretty good success. Both Schaub and Rosenfels combined for 327 yards passing.

3. Make plays on defense. Houston made some plays on defense as they forced one interception, but they didn’t quite do enough.

4. Win special teams. The Texans didn’t make enough special teams plays.

5. Get Andre the ball. The Vikings defense did a solid job against Johnson as he caught just four passes for 62 yards and a touchdown.

What to look for:

1. Look for Schaub to play well. The Texans quarterback played just one half before leaving with a knee injury and he finished 11 of 16 for 139 yards and an interception.

2. Look for Adrian Peterson to get over 100. The talented Vikings running back finished with 139 yards rushing on 25 carries including a touchdown.

3. Look for Owen Daniels to get in the end zone. Daniels didn’t score, but he did catch 11 balls for 133 yards.

4. Bet the over. The over/under for this game was 47 and the two teams combined for 49 points.

5. Look for a big special teams play. There were no big special teams plays in this game.
