Five most important things for the Texans:
1. Stop Forte. The Bears top offensive weapon ran for just 50 yards on 13 carries. Job well done by the Texans front seven.
2. Get an early lead. The Texans actually got in trouble early and came roaring back from a 10 point deficit. I guess they can play from behind.
3. Limit mistakes. Houston committed just one turnover and it led to three Chicago points.
4. Get Andre involved. The dynamic Texans receiver caught 10 passes for 148 yards and two touchdowns.
5. Schaub must finish strong. Matt Schaub put his best feet forward as he completed 27 of 36 passes for 328 yards, 2 TD’s and 0 INT’s. Great finish.
What to look for:
1. Look for Steve Slaton to win the battle of running backs. Slaton had 92 yards to Forte’s 50, and caught three passes for 36 yards. Advantage Slaton.
2. Look for Alex Brown to get a sack. Brown didn’t get a sack, but he did have four tackles and two passes defensed.
3. Look for Johnson to go over 100. Check. Andre was fantastic yet again to the tune of 10-148-2.
4. Look for Kyle Orton to throw for over 240 yards. Orton completed 22 of 37 passes for 244 yards and 2 TD’s.
5. Look for the game to be decided by a field goal. We were wrong on this one, as the Texans dominated the game after the first 10 minutes and the seven point margin didn’t accurately reflect Houston’s dominance.
